Summer Tree Identification

An event every week that begins at 5:00pm on Thursday, repeating until August 16, 2018

Learn how to identify native trees! By the end of this series, you’ll be able to identify most trees native to southeast Wisconsin. Led by UEC Forester Caitlin Reinartz. Dress for the weather — we’ll be going outside!

June 21 – Learn the Basics
June 28 – The Oaks
July 5 – The Maples and Ashes
July 12 – The Walnuts, Hickories, Beech and, Sycamore
July 19 – The Birch Family
July 26 – The Poplars/Aspens and The Elms
August 2 – The Rose and The Legume Family
August 9 – The Conifers, Part I
August 16 – The Conifers, Part II

For adults | $7 per class (Nonmembers: $10 per class)
UEC Land Stewardship volunteers: $5 per class
