Major Wisconsin Plant Families

An event every month that begins at 5:30pm on day Second of the month, repeating until September 12, 2018

This summer, get to know Wisconsin’s major native plant families! Join us for the whole series (or drop in class by class) and learn about basic plant characteristics, terminology, and identifying characteristics of a new native plant family each week.

Sessions take place on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at UEC’s Riverside Park branch:

May 9 – Lily and Mustard
June 13 – Rose and Parsley
July 11 – Legume and Mint
August 8 – Grasses and Milkweed
September 12 – Aster

For adults | $10 per class, $40 for the series
(Land Stewardship Volunteers: $8/class, $32/series)
(Nonmembers: $12/class, $48/series)
