March for Science – Milwaukee

The March for Science is a march for science! The March champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
When is the March for Science?
Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
Where does the March begin?
The March starts at the NW corner of Red Arrow Park at the intersection of Water St. and State St.
When does the March begin?
We will have a rally at 2:00 p.m. and begin marching at 3:00 p.m.
What is the March route?
We will starting marching from the NW corner of Red Arrow Park, marching to the Milwaukee Public Museum and back to the SW corner of Red Arrow Park.
Do I need to register?
No, you do not need to register. However, we would like to obtain an accurate headcount for the March for Science – Milwaukee in cooperation with national organizing efforts. Instructions for participating in the headcount will be available at the informational table at Red Arrow Park.
I’m not a scientist, may I still attend?
Absolutely! This is a march for science, so everyone is welcome!
