Leadership & Planning for MASA 2020

The meeting will focus on new leadership and events for 2020. We need help planning a public science gathering in March to which local candidates for public office will be invited to speak and answer questions on science-related issues. We’ll also discuss what we can do as science advocates living in the host city for the July 2020 Democratic National Convention. We’d love to hear your ideas!

Join Us & Connect with Your Community

We are interested in volunteers who have an enthusiasm for science and a willingness to advocate for it. If you have special skills, can help explain some of the science behind public policy, have experience planning events or fundraising, can write about science issues, can help us maintain our communication and media platforms, know how to help us continue our outreach to the local STEM community, or just want to help, we would love to speak with you now.

We’ve accomplished a lot since the 2017 March for Science – Milwaukee, but there’s so much more to do. Please join us as we stand up for science in 2020!
